Plantation Event on September 7th 2021

We participated in an plantation event organised by the Indo-Tibetan Friendship Association. In the pouring rain of late monsoon 45 Indian and Tibetan volunteers planted 160 along Dal Lake, McLeod Ganj.

The Clean Upper Dharamshala Programme (CUDP) is the environmental unit of the Tibetan Settlement Office (TSO) in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India.

 

Dharamshala is well-known for being the home of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet and more than 10.000 Tibetans that have settled there, especially in McLeod Ganj, which is nowadays also known as “little Lhasa”.
