Children's Library reading program

CUDP took part in "Manjushri Children's Library"winter reading program by organizing the 1st of 2 planned Sessions with kids about "Life lessons from the story books about Nature". This session features 3 story books involving nature and environment followed by small activities. Those 3 story books are: 1. "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein 2. "Wave" by Suzy Lee 3. "Sharing a Shell" by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks

The Clean Upper Dharamshala Programme (CUDP) is the environmental unit of the Tibetan Settlement Office (TSO) in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India.

 

Dharamshala is well-known for being the home of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet and more than 10.000 Tibetans that have settled there, especially in McLeod Ganj, which is nowadays also known as “little Lhasa”. 

 

As Tibetan refugees, we consider it our duty to keep this beautiful place clean and tidy. Read more About Us.
